Author Lishon is a proud Black woman who emerged from the rural area of Montego Bay, Jamaica, a beautiful island known for its sandy beaches, delicious food, and unique culture. Growing up with her mother and four siblings, she was taught to love and support each other no matter what—a motto they still live by today. As a child, she was always engaged in reading horror and romance novels. Though she grew up shy, graduating from high school and entering the workforce helped enhance her self-confidence, leading her to achieve her goals.

With over ten years of experience in the call center industry, she began as a customer service agent. She was eventually promoted to Customer Service Supervisor for a famous cruise line, outsourcing for another two years before migrating to the United States. These projects allowed her to grow internationally, including traveling to a sister site in Guatemala to share best practices and team-building opportunities. She cherished these experiences, which helped develop her leadership skills.

Her story is based on real-life events and a dream she had within the first three months of living in the United States in 2019. Inspired by a dream one morning at 3 a.m., she grabbed paper and pen and began writing. She believes that fate chose this path for her, and she is delighted to share her stories with the world. When the COVID-19 pandemic shook the world, writing became her coping mechanism. Despite not knowing exactly what she was doing, she continued to write on the train, bus, or wherever inspiration struck.

After the pandemic, she sought higher job opportunities and graduated in 2021 as a Certified Medical Assistant. She is now proudly employed with one of the best organizations in New York City, providing outstanding patient care. The combination of her reality and dreams resulted in a marvelous collection of poetry that allows readers to understand her story through their own eyes. Many can relate to the scenes and may add their personal touch to sympathize or glorify the author’s journey. She believes that sex is a beautiful art. When the pleasures are fulfilled, the stories become so engaging that they captivate the soul, allowing readers to imagine the feelings from a fantastic love-making experience.
